Of the track, the band comments:

„This song is about getting out of one’s comfort zone… getting a change of atmosphere. Metaphorically speaking of course because literally it’s a cosmical journey. A quest for elsewhere.”

Emerging from France’s vibrant electro scene, ODDZOO’s debut full-length marks the coming of a powerful new voice. That voice may seem somewhat familiar – quite literally – given that ODDZOO collaborated vocally with Perturbator for the track Vantablack and Carpenter Brut on Anarchy Road.

Future Flesh effortlessly blends the project’s deep influences in synth, indie pop, experimental noise, post punk, and hardcore; the band touches upon the best moments of The Soft Moon, M83, A Perfect Circle, and Cult of Luna.

Completed over the course of several years, the album was mixed by the band, and mastering duties were handled by Cult of Luna’s own drummer and internal engineer – Magnus Lindberg. The band’s debut is a carefully-plotted and incredible amalgamation of noise and experimentation.

Like nothing Blood Music has ever brought out before, this is for those who grew up enjoying the noisier side of Pavement or the softer side of Crystal Castles, as well as those with an interest in Dadaism and the otherworldly atmospheres of bands like Astronoid.
